Your thoughts deserve a safe haven.
Silent Pages is a private digital journal built for people who value their privacy. In a world where everything you do online is tracked, analyzed, and monetized, we believe your personal thoughts should remain exactly that, personal.
No ads. No tracking. No AI training on your entries. Just a safe space for your thoughts.
Every entry you write is encrypted using the same technology that banks and governments use to protect sensitive data. Each entry gets its own unique encryption key, so even if someone somehow got access to our database, all they'd see is gibberish.
This isn't just marketing speak. Your entries are encrypted on your device before they're sent to our servers. The encryption keys are unique to you and stored in a way that makes it mathematically impossible for us to decrypt your private entries, even if we wanted to (and we don't want to).
We follow strict European data protection standards. Your data belongs to you, period. When you delete an entry or your account, the encryption keys are permanently destroyed. That means the data becomes unrecoverable forever, by anyone, including us.
When you upload photos, we automatically strip all the hidden data (EXIF metadata) that could reveal where you took the photo, what device you used, or other personal details. Privacy isn't just about what you write; it's about everything.
We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Your journal is yours, not a product.
We don't train AI on your entries. Your personal thoughts won't end up as training data for some language model.
We don't track you. No behavior tracking, no user profiling, no "analytics" that are really just surveillance.
We can't give your data to anyone. Even if law enforcement asks, your encrypted entries are mathematically unreadable without your password.
We don't use third-party scripts. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixels, no trackers watching what you do.
Silent Pages is built using modern web technologies and cryptography libraries that security experts trust. We didn't reinvent the wheel when it comes to encryption, we use battle-tested, open-source libraries that have been audited by the security community.
If you have questions about our security practices or want to report a vulnerability, please reach out to us. We take this stuff seriously.
